The lady was Mrs. Hilyard, a wealthy and famous poetess who resided in a three-story mansion. Her elevator was her only means of transportation, which stopped just shy of the main floor due to an electrical malfunction on a July 4th weekend. She tried to call her alarm system, but it was unresponsive until she noticed a drunken individual outside, who broke into her home and started to plunder the place, taking advantage of her situation.
He left with his loot, but returned a few hours later with a plump prostitute and three teenage thugs. The trio proceeded to terrorize Mrs. Hilyard as they destroyed her property, causing her immense distress.
